Publication Ethics

At ASEAN ASBN Conference on Business, Management, Accounting, and Economics (AABMAEC), we adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to follow ethical guidelines to ensure the credibility and quality of published research. Our ethical guidelines are aligned with the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and include the following principles:

For Authors:

  1. Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

  2. Authorship: All individuals who have made significant contributions to the work should be listed as co-authors. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.

  3. Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose all financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that may be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

For Peer Reviewers:

  1. Confidentiality: Reviewers must keep all manuscripts confidential and must not share information about the manuscript with anyone outside of the peer review process.

  2. Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively, with constructive feedback that helps improve the quality of the manuscript.

  3. Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should disclose any conflicts of interest that may bias their review or evaluation of the manuscript.

For Editors:

  1. Fairness: Editors should evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and the originality of the work.

  2. Confidentiality: Editors must ensure the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and the publisher.

Allegations of Misconduct:

If any ethical concerns are raised regarding a submitted manuscript or published paper, we will follow COPE's guidelines and take appropriate action to investigate and resolve the issue.
